    Welcome to a summer of inspiration at the library.


    • See Event Calendar for special programs!
    • Register between June 8 and July 12
    • Ice Cream Social will kick off registration at McKeesport: Saturday, June 8 from 1:00 to 3:00 pm!
      Ice Cream Cone
    • Report or log between June 17 and July 27.
    • IF you complete the program, you will receive an invitaion to the party on Aug. 8.

    Teens
  • Read to Me


    Early Lit
    • Birth to 5 years of age - For children not reading on their own.
    • Parents/guardians: bring your child to the library to register and receive a free book and a packet to log your child's reading.
    • Each week that you read at least one hour and report it at the library, you will receive a small trinket AND be eligible for that week's prize drawing.
    • Complete the program by reading at least six hours to your child by July 27th, and receive a free book, a chance for the grand prize drawing, and an invitation to the closing party!
  • Readers


    Youth
    • Independent readers through 6th Grade.
    • Register at the library & receive a free book and a packet to log your reading.
    • Each week that you read at least one hour and report it at the library, you will receive a small trinket AND be eligible for that week's prize drawing.
    • Complete the program by reading at least six hours by July 27th, and receive a free book, a chance for the grand prize drawing, and an invitation to the closing party!
  • Teens


    Teens
    • For students entering 7th grade through 12th.
    • First, register online or at the library.
    • Each week, log into Summer Reading and report the number of minutes you've read. If it's over one hour, you are eligible to win the weekly prize.
    • If you read and report 6 hours by July 27th, you are eligible for the Grand Prize drawing and the party.
  • Adults


    Adults
    • Ages 19 +
    • First, register online or at the library.
    • Each week, log into Summer Reading and report the number of minutes you've read. If it's over one hour, you are eligible to win the weekly prize.
