    Teens

    Read to Me's & Readers -- REGISTER AT THE LIBRARY.

    Starting June 10, Teens and Adults REGISTER ONLINE - use links below starting June 10 -- or at the Library (if you need assistance, please stop by the library for help)

    2016 Results:

    • 36 Adults read 1225 hours
    • 33 Teens read 142 hours
    • 165 Independent Readers read 597 hours
    • 88 Read-to-Me's read 242 hours
  • Read to Me


    Early Lit
    • Birth to 5 years of age - For children not reading on their own.
    • Parents/guardians: bring your child to the library to register and receive a free book and a packet to log your child's reading.
    • Each week that you read at least one hour and report it at the library, you will receive a small trinket AND be eligible for that week's prize drawing.
    • Complete the program by reading at least six hours to your child by July 29th, and receive a free book, a chance for the grand prize drawing, and an invitation to the closing party!
    • Bonus grand prize entry for every 2 extra hours of reading (after the initial 6 hours).
  • Readers


    Youth
    • Independent readers through 6th Grade.
    • Register at the library & receive a free book and a packet to log your reading.
    • Each week that you read at least one hour and report it at the library, you will receive a small trinket AND be eligible for that week's prize drawing.
    • Complete the program by reading at least six hours by July 29th, and receive a free book, a chance for the grand prize drawing, and an invitation to the closing party!

    • Each week, log into Summer Reading and report the number of minutes you've read. If it's over one hour, you are eligible to win the weekly prize.

    • Ages 19 +
    • Each week, log into Summer Reading and report the number of minutes you've read. If it's over one hour, you are eligible to win the weekly prize.
    • If you read and report 6 hours by July 29th, you are eligible for the Grand Prize drawing and the party.
